Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC Secco
One of the most structured and complex versions from the Lambrusco family. It displays a brilliant color and inviting almond notes.
Hills and foothills around Castelvetro.
Lively and persistent mousse, a particularly bright ruby red with a purple rim; intense black cherry, blackberry and almond notes; fresh, vibrant, harmonious, pleasant, and full-bodied flavor.
It goes especially well with cold cuts, pasta with meat sauce, white and red meats, traditional Emilian sausages and moderately mature cheeses.
Its epicenter is in the commune of Castelvetro but it has spread to the neighboring communes of the Province of Modena.
It has loosely-packed clusters with red stalks and medium-sized leaves of an intense green color. These grapes produce a wine with a lively ruby red color and purple rim.
It is tannic, with substantial body.
